With theme parks across the world, Palace wanted to seize an opportunity to revamp and relaunch their theatrical shows with greater operational efficiency and better entertainment on stage.
We started by eliminating the most prominent obstacle: fractured production operations. Instead of each park running its own shows, at times with multiple producers, we consolidated production efforts. This freed up significant budgets to redirect towards licensing fees of well-known brands, like Daniel Tiger and Thomas the Tank Engine. We also took existing characters from specific parks, such as Duke The Dragon and Princess Brooke, and branded them across all Palace properties, enhancing overall brand equity. We ensured all characters spent time off-stage throughout the parks, engaging with guests and creating lasting, personal memories.
With successful return on investment and entertainment that delivered for audiences, we’ve become Palace’s in-house entertainment department servicing Dutch Wonderland, Kennywood, Lake Compounce, Idlewild and Story Land, raising the bar each year on the performances and experiences we produce.
